WONDER WALL HEADER (3) copy

On Holy Thursday, we traditionally paint red eggs and bake Easter cookies. This year we decided to make untraditional recipes and avoid sugar.

We managed to find the most delicious recipe on the Babygram blog, and our cookies came out perfect and guilt-free!

Ingredients:

- 125 gr. butter (room temperature)

- 125 gr. honey

- 1 egg

- Half a teaspoon of liquid Madagascar vanilla

- 270 gr. organic flour for all purposes

  • 30 gr. cranberry powder (if you want them to turn red)

Instructions:

Mix the butter with the honey until they are homogenized. Add the egg and the liquid vanilla and keep mixing. Add your flour and cranberry powder (if you decide to use it).

Once the mix is ready, wrap your dough with plastic wrap and leave it in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

When time is up, shape your cookies either with a cutter or in braids for a classic Easter design.

Bake at 170 degrees Celsius for 12-18 minutes (depending on their size).

This recipe is unique because it can be used as a basis to bake any type of cookies you want. Add orange zest, chocolate drops, or anything else you want, and they will turn out just perfect.
