“Who knocked over the curtain rod?”
“Who scribbled on the walls?”
“Who broke the vase?”

These were today’s questions from my parents, aimed at me, my little sibling, and our sweet dog. I, putting on the most serious face and adding a little fake crying, said:

“Unfortunately… Misa and Haris! I tried to stop them, but I couldn’t!”

“Thomas, are you sure you’re not lying?” asked Mom.
“Lying? Me? Never!” I replied, and then I explained exactly what happened.
